Closed 16 Dec 2011

Opened 11 Nov 2011

The London bus network is kept under regular review. As part of this, we develop proposals for changes to services.

Why We Are Consulting

We have developed proposals for routes 233 and 284 and would like to hear your views.

Route 233 (Swanley – Eltham)

Route 233 runs between Swanley and Eltham every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes and every 30 minutes Sundays and all evenings.

In order to provide more capacity, we are proposing to increase the morning peak frequency, on schooldays only, from a bus every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes, departing Swanley between 0720 and 0820.

Route 284 (Lewisham – Grove Park)

Route 284 runs between Lewisham and Grove Park cemetery every 10 minutes in the morning peak, every 10-12 minutes in the afternoon peak,  every 12 minutes for the rest of Monday to Saturday daytimes and every 20 minutes on Sundays and all evenings.

In order to provide more capacity we are proposing to increase the afternoon peak frequency from a bus every 10 – 12 minutes to every 10 minutes.
