Consultation

Local and strategic stakeholders were invited to participate in the consultation, which took place between 11 February and 15 March 2011. Submissions continued to be accepted and given consideration after this date.

Our decision

Having given full consideration to the feedback provided by respondents and to the traffic data collected, we confirm that we intend to remove these signals within the next few weeks. This is due to very low demand, and the close proximity of alternative fully signalised crossing points. Full details of the findings from the trial and consultation are contained in the Consultation Report.
