Section 1: Bastable Avenue and Sutton Gardens

Closed 5 Aug 2019

Opened 24 Jun 2019

Bastable Avenue is a busy residential street linking up two main roads – River Road and Renwick Road which leads into Barking Riverside development. Our proposals would improve crossing facilities for people walking and cycling, making it easier to access to the local school and shops.

Sutton Gardens is a quiet residential street where our proposals include a wider, shared use footpath and some reduction in parking provision.
