It is an offence, punishable by up to two years imprisonment and/ or an unlimited fine, to send any letter, electronic communication or article that is (in whole or part) indecent or grossly offensive, or which conveys a threat, or which is false, with the intention to cause distress or anxiety to the recipient. This applies to all responses received to our consultations.
